"Stump"- The Sussex Spaniel

“Stump” - the Sussex Spaniel breed dog won the top dog in the nation and was Best in Show at the 133rd Westminster Dog Show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Sussex Spaniel Breed Dog looks very elegant. It has a broad, square head which leads into an equally broad and square muzzle. It has large hazel colored eyes which are long, the eyes are covered with which hang down past their jaws.

The body of Sussex Spaniel breed dog looks very wide as they are short. Though they are short they have strong muscles, their legs lead to small rounded feet. Their tail is usually docked very short. Long wavy, never curly, hair covers their body in a golden liver color.

These dogs are very pleasant, gentle breed. They are friendly family dogs. They are loved by children and even cats. They are intelligent and hence are very easy to train. They are also not incredibly playful, and their energy level is low. They grow only 15-16 inches and weigh up to 45 pounds.
